Naomi Figueroa has a diverse work experience in various roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as an Office Assistant at Cazenovia College, handling confidential student records and assisting in various administrative tasks. In 2013, they served as a Marketing and Communications Intern at the International Center of Photography, where they conducted research, contacted media organizations, and managed promotional partnerships. From 2014 to 2016, Naomi worked as an Administrative Assistant at Dance With Me Studios, corresponding with clients, managing schedules, and handling sensitive student account information. Naomi later joined Cayuga Centers, starting as an Administrative Assistant and eventually transitioning to roles such as Skills Trainer and Teacher. In these positions, they provided trauma-informed care, developed curricula, conducted assessments, and organized field trips. From 2020 to 2022, Naomi worked as a Program Coordinator at the Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education, where they managed after-school programming, implemented activities, conducted recruitment efforts, and ensured compliance with regulations. Naomi'smost recent position is an Early Head Start Teacher at the Association to Benefit Children (ABC), starting in 2022.
Naomi Figueroa completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies at Cazenovia College from 2010 to 2014. In 2012 to 2013, they attended Canterbury Christ Church University but did not obtain a degree or field of study. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Education - MEd at Bank Street College of Education, specializing in General/Special Early Childhood Education, Infant Dev. & Early Intervention, starting in 2022 with an ongoing status.
