Basile Swagemakers

Basile Swagemakers has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Basile started their career as an IT lecturer at SITC in 1985 and then joined Data Consulting SA as an Analyst - Programmer in 1986. Basile worked at Data Consulting SA for 13 years before moving to Assura. At Assura, Basile held various roles including Developer and Project Manager, IT Manager for Development & Infrastructure, IT Manager for Infrastructure, and IT Manager for AS400 / IT Operations & Supplier Management. In their roles at Assura, they managed teams of up to 35 IT professionals and was responsible for supplier management. Their latest role at Assura was as a Project Manager for the Atlas project, where they led the data migration stream.

Basile Swagemakers attended Institut Dr Schmid from 1984 to 1985 where they studied Informatique and earned a degree in Analyste-Programmeur. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1984, they studied Hospitalité at SITC and obtained a degree in Hotel Management.
