Paddy Horan

Paddy Horan is an experienced actuary currently serving as the Technology Lead at Assured Allies since August 2021 and an Apache Arrow Committer at The Apache Software Foundation since February 2019. Previous roles include Director and Actuary, Senior Actuary, and Senior Actuarial Consultant at MetLife from May 2012 to August 2021, as well as Forecasting and Financial Modeling Actuary and Actuary Trainee at Barclays Insurance Dublin from July 2008 to April 2012. Paddy holds a Higher Diploma in Actuarial Science with a GPA of 3.78 from University College Dublin and a 1.1 Honors degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Maynooth University.
