Steven Coleman, CPA, ALMI has a diverse range of work experience. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Accountant at HBE Becker Meyer Love LLP, gaining experience in various industries. From 2013 to 2014, they were promoted to the role of Manager at the same company, where they led audit engagements and was responsible for client service and staff development. In 2014, they joined Assurity as the Manager of Internal Audit, where they played a crucial role in conducting operational, financial, and compliance audits. Additionally, they led the annual risk assessment process and developed audit plans. In 2020, they were promoted to the position of Director of Accounting and Controller at Assurity, where they currently hold a leadership role.

Steven Coleman, CPA, ALMI graduated from Southeast Community College in 2006 with an Associate's degree in Accounting. Steven then pursued further education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting in 2008. In 2008, Steven Coleman also achieved the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Nebraska Society of CPAs. Furthermore, in December 2017, they obtained the Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) certification from LOMA.
