Darrel Fergus

Darrel Fergus has extensive experience in finance and management roles. Darrel most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ASTAD Project Management since February 2019. Prior to that, they held the same position at KEO International Consultants from November 2016 to December 2018.

Before that, Darrel worked as the Finance Director at Mouchel Middle East, where they were responsible for all finance aspects of the business, including cash management and project reporting. Darrel was in this role from April 2016 to November 2016.

Darrel also worked at Parsons Corporation as the Group Finance Director for their Saudi Arabian business. In this position, they oversaw the financial aspects of multiple high-profile projects, managed cost controls, and provided input into business modeling exercises. Darrel held this role from June 2015 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Darrel served as the Group Finance Director for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at Weatherford, where they were responsible for interpreting financial and operational results. Darrel also served as the Region Finance Controller for the Asia Pacific region at Weatherford, managing various reporting functions, tax compliance, and supply chain operations.

Darrel started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they gained experience in audit engagements and compliance advice across a wide range of industries.

Darrel Fergus has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from the Haskayne School of Business, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. Darrel also completed their high school education at Long Bay College in Auckland, New Zealand, from 1975 to 1978, earning diplomas and certificates in the field of High School/Secondary education.

In addition to their degrees, Darrel Fergus has also obtained a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in September 1998.
