Samuel VanHavermaet has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Samuel started as an Engineering Technician at Crenlo in 2015, where they facilitated Creo 3D CAD Software, created and managed ECOs, and improved products. In 2017, they became a Designer at Crenlo Cab Manufacturing, developing and drafting components for new cab products and translating customer designs into production prints. Samuel later worked as a CAD Drafter at HALCON Furniture in 2018. In 2019, they joined Crenlo again as an Assembler, responsible for assembling cabinets and ensuring workspace organization and process efficiency. Currently, in 2022, they are employed as a Design Engineer at ASTEC.
Samuel VanHavermaet completed their Associate's Degree in Engineering from Rochester Community and Technical College, with studies spanning from 2011 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Bachelors of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Minnesota, specializing in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Samuel obtained their Bachelors degree in 2016. In addition to their formal education, Samuel received certification as a Briggs and Stratton Technician from Briggs and Stratton in March 2011.
