Molly Ryan is an accomplished researcher in the field of pharmacology with extensive experience in gene therapy and biochemical assays. Currently serving as Associate Director and Neuromuscular Gene Therapy Research Lead at Astellas Gene Therapies since October 2019, Molly has progressed through various roles including Senior Scientist and Scientist I and II. Prior experience includes work as a Scientist I at Verseon, and as a Graduate Student at Yale University, where research focused on drug resistance and oncogenic mutations. Molly’s background also includes a Summer Intern position at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and undergraduate research at UCSF and UC Berkeley, with expertise in a variety of lab techniques and methodologies. Molly holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Yale University and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley.
