Josh Zhou

Josh Zhou currently serves as the Head of Business Strategy and Management for Astellas Pharma in China, a position held since May 2024. Previously, Josh Zhou was the Greater China GM and Head of Commercial at CStone Pharmaceuticals from April 2022 to December 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Sanofi Pasteur and multiple roles within Novartis Oncology, including BU Head for Oncology Established Brands and Franchise Head for Rare Diseases. Earlier career stages included roles at China Resources Group as Director of Hospital Portfolio Management and at McKinsey & Company as Senior Consultant and Engagement Manager. Josh Zhou began a medical career as a Physician in the Department of Anesthesia at PUMCH. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree in Clinical Medicine from Peking Union Medical College and a brief tenure as a visiting scholar in Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
