Jim Brink has over four decades of experience in the pulp and paper industry, currently serving as the West Coast Business Team Leader at AstenJohnson since June 2008. In this role, Jim is responsible for forecasting annual sales, managing the expense budget, and coaching team members, while also fostering customer relationships and supporting corporate initiatives. Previously, Jim held the position of West Coast Sales/Service Account Manager at AstenJohnson, where responsibilities included sales, service, and value-added work across all accounts, along with extensive training in various specialized equipment and safety protocols. Prior experience includes roles at Ponderay Newsprint, where Jim served as a Process Leader and Operations Shutdown Coordinator, as well as at NORPAC as a Summer Intern to Dry End Operator. Jim's educational background includes training from multiple institutions, with the most recent education completed at AstenJohnson. Additionally, Jim has a notable achievement as the originator and tournament director of the Papermakers Golf Tournament for 18 years.
