Joel Moody

Joel Moody is a seasoned football recruitment and coaching professional with extensive experience in youth player development. Currently serving as the Under 7 - 11 Player Recruitment Manager at Aston Villa Football Club since September 2021, Joel previously held the position of Foundation Phase Lead at Coventry City Football Club from January 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included delivering programs for players aged under 6 to under 12. At Vancouver Whitecaps FC from January 2016 to December 2017, Joel was the Academy Regional Director, successfully launching and implementing training models on the East Coast of Canada while also serving as Technical Director of Gloucester Hornets. Earlier roles included Lead Under 10 Coach and Youth Phase Coach at Southampton Football Club, and Lead Under 12 and pre-academy Coach at Swansea City Football Club. Joel holds a BSc in Sports Coaching Performance from the University of South Wales, earned in May 2013.
