Sean Liston

Sean Liston is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Astra since June 2023, following a tenure as a Design Engineer at Stellar Exploration, Inc. from June 2020 to June 2023. Prior experience includes leadership as Team Lead at Cal Poly Racing, where critical design and validation of a vehicle mass moment of inertia test device were executed. Internships at Tesla involved mechanical design engineering and process improvement, while earlier roles included tutoring at Cal Poly and contributing to mechanical engineering projects at Jade Therapeutics. Sean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and participated in a study abroad program at Universidad del País Vasco.
