Philip Broder has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years in the IT industry. Philip began their career as a Programmer at Unilever in 1982. After that, they worked at Software AG as a Natural Programmer and ADABAS DBA from 1986 to 1990. Philip then joined BP as an ADABAS DBA from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they served as an Assistant Director of Administrative Computing at Stephen F. Austin State University for a year.

In 1995, Philip founded Shaftesbury Systems Limited and served as the Founder & Technical Director. Philip designed and built ebillz, a telecoms reseller billing system, and it became the market leading system in the UK. Philip sold the company to Chess Telecom in 2010. During their time at Shaftesbury Systems, they specialized in Visual Basic, SQL Server, and Access.

From 2012 to 2016, Philip was the Co-Founder & CTO of BandApp, where they were responsible for designing and implementing the BandApp architecture. Philip led the development team and handled business analysis, functional design, program specifications, and product roadmap. In 2016, they joined Stacks as a Contract iOS App Developer, focusing on innovative ways to present financial data.

Simultaneously, Philip worked as an Independent iOS developer, leveraging their extensive experience to independently develop native mobile apps for the iPhone platform. Philip built a portfolio of personal apps across various sectors and started working on freelance contracts in Austin and remotely. Philip specialized in iPhone sensor data collection and processing.

Philip then joined CabForward, A Digital Product Agency, in 2016, as a Contract iOS App Developer until 2017. Finally, in 2020, they became a Mobile Systems Architect at AstraNav.

Philip Broder attended the University of Northampton from 1979 to 1981, where they pursued a degree in Chemistry and received a Higher National Certificate (HNC). Philip then attended the University of Leicester from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Physics.
