Jeff Dexter

Jeff Dexter currently serves as Vice President of Software at Astranis Space Technologies, a position held since October 2021, after previously holding the role of Senior Director of Software. Prior experience includes significant positions at SpaceX from January 2014 to April 2021, where Jeff Dexter was Senior Director of Flight Software & Cybersecurity, Director of Flight Software, and Senior Manager of Launch Vehicle Software Program. Prior to SpaceX, Jeff Dexter worked as Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon – Orange County from May 2012 to January 2014, and held various leadership roles at Raining Data Corporation and TigerLogic Corporation from 2001 to 2012, including Director of Product Development & Technology and Chief Architect. Educationally, Jeff Dexter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University between 1995 and 1999.
