Sam Cook

Sam Cook is a Mission Operations Engineer II at Astranis Space Technologies, where they are responsible for developing and automating operations for the company's fleet of GEO internet satellites. Prior to their current role, Sam worked at Northrop Grumman as a System Engineer, where they were part of the Flight Control Team for the James Webb Space Telescope. Sam also has experience as an Associate System Engineer, Mechanical and Product Design Engineering Intern at ThinOptics, Quality Assurance Contractor at Quri, and Production Assistant/Intern at Cengage Learning. They graduated from the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering with a degree in Astronautical Engineering. Additionally, Sam worked as a Butcher's Assistant at Belcampo Group, Inc. during high school.
