Ana B. Sanchez

Ana B. Sanchez is an accomplished professional in clinical research and operations, currently serving as the Associate Director Study Leader for Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca since December 2024. Previously, Ana worked as the Global Study Lead in Clinical Operations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included coordination of study footprints and overseeing recruitment activities for a phase 3 study across multiple countries. Prior experiences include roles at PRA Health Sciences, Merck, and University Health Network, where Ana managed clinical trials, ensured compliance with regulations, and led teams to enhance operational efficiency. Ana holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management and an M.Sc. in Immunology from Université Laval, along with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and a Teacher's College degree.
