Prakash Rathi

Prakash Rathi is an experienced professional in the field of drug design and data analytics, currently serving as the Augmented Drug Design Engineering Lead at AstraZeneca since December 2019, where leadership is provided to distributed engineering teams focused on early drug discovery through AI tools. Prior roles include Lead AI Engineer and Senior Data and Analytics Engineer at Astex Pharmaceuticals (UK) from January 2015 to December 2019, and earlier experiences as a scientific software developer and postdoctoral research fellow. Notable research includes an internship at BASF, where efforts centered on identifying determinants of protein thermostability, resulting in a publication in the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling (JCIM).
