Zhihua XIAO has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. They started their career as a Research Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007 and later worked as an Associate Researcher at the same institution. They then moved on to become a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Shenzhen Research Institute and later at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 2016, they took on the role of Associate Researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 2018, they joined HKPC - Hong Kong Productivity Council as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they worked on the implementation and research of new technologies. In 2021, they joined Nano and Advanced Materials Institute Ltd. as a Senior Engineer. Currently, Zhihua XIAO works as an Associate Principal Engineer at ASTRI - Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute.
Zhihua Xiao completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Nanchang University between the years of 2000 and 2004. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Zhihua'seducational journey continued as they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
