Nikki Baines

Nikki Baines has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at Astro Lighting Limited since January 2021, overseeing HR for a growing team of approximately 140 employees across multiple international locations. Prior to this, Nikki held the position of HR Manager at Ashlyns Organics Limited from January 2008 to January 2021, where responsibilities included establishing an HR function from scratch, managing recruitment, training, and compliance during significant organizational growth. Nikki's earlier career includes a notable role as Human Resources Director at Hilton from 1992 to 2006, providing HR services to a diverse workforce, managing complex benefits, and acting as a strategic partner to senior executives. Educational qualifications include A Levels from Chelmsford College, training in aptitude and personality testing from Saville & Holdsworth, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of East London.
