Victor Nellessen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Victor started their career as a Waiter at Warsaw Inn from April 2008 to May 2011. Following that, they worked as an Aircraft Electrician in the US Navy from July 2011 to July 2017, where they gained experience in soldering, module and test repair, and cable and connector repair. Victor then joined Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2018 and 2019, where they worked on engineering projects involving embedded systems and integration, as well as digital logic and computer architecture. In 2019, Victor also had an internship as an Electrical Engineering Intern at AECOM/AGS, where they worked on US Navy submarine electronic systems. Currently, they are employed as an Electrical Engineer at Astronautics Corporation of America, starting from June 2021. Additionally, Victor has served as a Boatswain Mate in the US Navy Reserve since August 2017, operating and maintaining assault craft and amphibious LCUs. Overall, Victor has a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in both military and civilian sectors.
Victor Nellessen began their education by completing their high school diploma at McHenry West Campus High School from 2006 to 2010. Following high school, they attended McHenry County College from 2010 to 2011, where they studied general studies. In 2012, Victor obtained a Certificate of Completion in Miniature Electronic Repair from the Naval Education and Training Command. Victor then pursued an apprenticeship in Aircraft Electrician (Aircraft MFG, AIR TRANS) from 2012 to 2015, receiving a Certificate of Completion from the United States Department of Labor.
In 2014, Victor further expanded their knowledge with various certifications. Victor completed a PinPoint II Developer Training Course and a PinPoint II User Training Course from Diagnosys. Victor also obtained a Certificate of Completion in Microminiature Electronics Repair from the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Detachment Atsugi, Japan.
In 2015, Victor completed two Certificate of Completion programs from the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit, Oceana. Victor studied F/A-18E/F Electrical/Instruments Systems Initial Organizational Maintenance as well as F/A-18E/F Electrical/Instruments System Career Organizational Maintenance Course.
Most recently, from 2017 to 2021, Victor pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Victor has yet to complete their degree as of now.
