Renzo Luongo Akiki

Renzo Luongo Akiki is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Head of Data at AstroPay since September 2019, where the focus is on fostering a data-driven culture and supporting team growth. In addition, Renzo works as a freelance Data Scientist for Bunker db®, developing machine learning models for advertising budget optimization. Previous experience includes roles as a Mathematics Teacher at Fundación Salir Adelante - B´nai B´rith, Capacity Planning Analyst at Tenaris, and logistics positions at Unilever. Renzo holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Data Science & Machine Learning from Universidad de la República, and has completed specialized programs in machine learning and data science from esteemed institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Michigan.
