Kim Ballinger

Kim Ballinger is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the food, dairy, and beverage industries. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at AsureQuality since December 2020, Kim is focused on enhancing New Zealand's food sector. Previous roles include Director on the Board of Waiū Dairy and Strategic Adviser at Consultancy Services, where Kim supported industry growth and sustainability. As CEO of Tip Top Ice Cream from January 2017 to March 2020, leadership was provided for New Zealand's leading ice cream brand, managing a revenue of NZD 160 million. Kim’s career at Fonterra spanned from 1994 to 2017, with positions ranging from Director Export to Global Sales Manager, showcasing a proven track record in P&L management and innovation development across various international markets. Kim holds a Master's Degree in Dairy Science and Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Massey University.
