Gordon M.

Gordon M. has a diverse work experience in the field of biochemistry and mass spectrometry. Gordon currently holds the role of Associate Director, Metabolite & Protein Sciences at Atavistik Bio since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at LifeMine Therapeutics, where they served as an Associate Principal Scientist in Chemical Biology and Proteomics from August 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they contributed to the development and application of affinity selection mass spectrometry (ASMS) platform and conducted proteomics experiments.

Before joining LifeMine Therapeutics, Gordon M. worked for Waters Corporation for several years. Gordon held various positions including Principal MS Applications Specialist from January 2017 to June 2019, Senior MS Applications Specialist from January 2015 to January 2017, and Senior Field Applications Specialist from October 2011 to January 2015. During their tenure at Waters Corporation, they conducted LC/MS instrument demonstrations for clients in the pharmaceutical industry and collaborated on a wide range of applications involving small molecules and large molecules.

Gordon M. also has experience in academia, having worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Utah from May 2009 to October 2011, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory in SLC Utah from May 2008 to June 2009.

Following this, they enrolled at The University of Edinburgh from 2004 to 2008 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, specializing in Organic Chemistry.
