Joann Prescott-Roy

Joann Prescott-Roy has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and pharmaceutical research. Joann is currently serving as the Director at Atavistik Bio since February 2023. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Principal Scientist at Relay Therapeutics from January 2019 to January 2023. Before that, Joann held positions at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) including Senior Principal Cheminformatics Analyst from September 2017 to November 2019 and Senior Business Analyst from May 2014 to September 2017. Joann also worked as a Senior Informatics Scientist at AstraZeneca from March 2003 to April 2014. Additionally, they served as an Informaticist at Arqule from March 2002 to March 2003 and as a Software Engineer at Genome Therapeutics from September 1999 to March 2003. Joann began their career as a Graduate Student at the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1998.

Joann Prescott-Roy completed their undergraduate education at Dartmouth College from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biophysical Chemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1998. During this time, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Medicinal Chemistry.
