Adam M. Beattie

President, Structures at ATCO Group

Adam Beattie is the President of ATCO’s Structures division. Reporting to the Chair & Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Beattie is responsible for leading Workforce Housing, Space Rentals, and Permanent Modular Construction business lines worldwide, as well as the manufacturing of modular products.

ATCO’s Structures division sells and leases Workforce Housing products in Canada, the U.S., Australia, Chile and other select international markets. The Space Rentals and sales business leases and sells relocatable modular offices, classrooms and other structures in Canada, Australia, the U.S. and Chile. . The Structures division also designs and manufactures permanent modular building solutions that include dormitories, schools, daycares, gymnasiums, hockey arenas, gas stations, multi-purpose community centres and offices.

In Australia, Mr. Beattie managed the successful delivery of the Wheatstone LNG modular project and led the conceptualization and construction of our manufacturing facility in Western Australia. He has also been successful in driving the Structures Global Business Unit’s diversification into non-traditional, resource and construction markets in Canada.

Mr. Beattie joined ATCO in 2003 with Structures & Logistics in Brisbane, Australia and has held increasingly senior operational and leadership roles. Mr. Beattie moved to Perth, Western Australia to establish the ATCO Structures business in 2009, returning to Brisbane in 2011 to be involved in securing and executing three major Curtis Island workforce housing projects for LNG facilities being constructed on the island. Mr. Beattie completed his tenure in Australia as Managing Director in 2016, and then relocated with his family to Calgary to become Senior Vice President, North America. In November of 2017, Mr. Beattie was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President & General Manager, Structures, responsible for all Structures business worldwide.

Mr. Beattie earned a Bachelor of Business degree in 2001 from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Southern Queensland.
