Jared Vasiliauskas

Jared Vasiliauskas has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Jared started their career in 2009 as a Legal Intern at the Iowa State Public Defender. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at RMG Baseball, first as the Director of Baseball Operations and later as the General Counsel. In 2012, they also served as a Student Attorney at Valparaiso University's Sports Law Clinic. In 2020, they were involved with the Esports Trade Association as the Interim Chair of the Legal Committee and later as the Secretary.

In 2021, Jared took on the role of Director at Athelytix, a sports data analytics company. Currently, they are a Partner at POWER & CRONIN, LTD., where they started as an Associate Attorney in 2016. At this firm, they specialize in business transactions, corporate law, commercial real estate, civil litigation, sports law, and workers' compensation defense. Their responsibilities include advising clients on contractual relationships, drafting and negotiating various agreements, representing athletes and sports agents in disputes and negotiations, and participating in commercial litigation.

Jared Vasiliauskas began their education journey at Loras College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sports Management. Jared attended the college from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they enrolled at Valparaiso University, where they earned their Juris Doctor degree between 2010 and 2013.

In addition to their educational background, Jared Vasiliauskas has obtained several certifications. Jared became a Licensed Attorney in the Illinois Supreme Court in May 2014. A month later, in June 2014, they obtained the General Bar certification from the United States District Court Northern District of Illinois. Following this, they became an Expert Agent Advisor for the Major League Baseball Players Association in November 2018. In July 2019, they acquired the Attorney certification from the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Most recently, in July 2020, they obtained the Attorney certification from the United States District Court Northern District Indiana.
