Light Aguhayon

Light Aguhayon has a strong background in human resources, with over 16 years of experience. Currently, Light is working at Athena as a Compensation and Benefits Director, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Light worked as an Organization Design Director at Athena from August 2022 to June 2023.

Before joining Athena, Light held various roles at Continental, UnitedHealth Group, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Aegis PeopleSupport. Notably, Light served as the Country TMOD and Communications Manager at Continental from July 2019 to July 2020 and as the Center HR Lead at Global Business Services Manila from April 2018 to July 2019. At UnitedHealth Group, Light worked as an Associate Human Capital Partner from June 2013 to September 2017, and at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Light worked as an HR Business Partner from October 2009 to June 2013.

Light began their HR career at Aegis PeopleSupport, where they held several positions including HR Consulting Manager from May 2008 to September 2009, HR Consultant from June 2007 to May 2008, and HR Associate for Employee Relations from December 2005 to June 2007.

Light Aguhayon completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of the Philippines from 1998 to 2002. Later, from 2007 to 2009, Light pursued a Masters degree in Management at the same university.
