Kristina Krause is a seasoned design researcher with extensive experience in user experience and ethnographic research. Currently serving as a Principal Design Researcher at athenahealth since April 2015, Kristina specializes in conducting strategic and experimental research while developing tools and resources for product teams. Previous roles include Senior User Experience Researcher at athenahealth, User Researcher at Aditi Litehouse, and Research Coordinator for Internews Network. Kristina has also worked as an instructor at Seattle Central College and the University of Kent, imparting knowledge in web design and anthropology. Academically, Kristina holds an M.Sc. in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent, complemented by a Certificate in Web Design from Seattle Central College and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Fine Arts from The George Washington University.
