Cecile Riker Mpa

Cecile Riker, MPA, currently serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator and Stormwater Program Education Specialist for the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government, a position held since June 2016. In this role, Cecile oversees a comprehensive Stormwater Education Program aimed at K-12 students, businesses, homeowners, and land developers. Previous experience includes an internship with Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful, focused on litter prevention and community beautification, and a Graduate Research Assistantship at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, where efforts were directed towards strategic operations and planning. Additional roles included Public Relations Captain for Pack to Plate and Water Education Intern with the Water Conservation Office. Cecile earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
