Jamie Pursiful

Jamie Pursiful has extensive experience in communications and emergency management, currently serving as a Communications Officer for Athens-Clarke County since November 2009, and for Barrow County Emergency Management since October 2007. Prior roles include Dispatcher for Barrow County from 2007 to 2009 and Account Tech at Jacksonville Animal Care & Protective Services from January 2006 to August 2007. Additionally, Jamie held the position of Marketing Communications Specialist at TeleNet Marketing Solutions from October 2002 to May 2005, managing high-end technology accounts for prominent clients such as HP, Agilysys, and Lexmark. Jamie Pursiful holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Middle Georgia State University, completed between 2010 and 2017, and is a graduate of Greenbrier High School, class of 1997.
