Spyros Pagratis

Spyros Pagratis has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Spyros started their career as an Economist at the Bank of England in 1999 and held that position until 2008. From 2009 to 2015, they worked as a Lecturer in Finance at Athens University of Economics and Business. Spyros then advanced to the role of Assistant Professor in Finance from 2015 to 2022. Currently, at Athens University of Economics and Business, they hold the position of Associate Professor and is also the Director of the MSc in Business Economics with Analytics program. In 2013, they worked as an Expert consultant at the OECD - OCDE for a brief period.

Spyros Pagratis received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 2001 and 2005.
