Aravind Balagi Prasad

Aravind Balagi Prasad is an experienced professional in the electric vehicle and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of Charging Infrastructure Business at Ather Energy since May 2017. At Ather, Aravind has held multiple key roles, including Head of Programs, Program Lead for Vehicle Development, and Deputy General Manager for the 450X product line, driving successful product launches and implementing strategic initiatives. Prior to Ather, Aravind managed government engagement and advocacy at Central Square Foundation and served as a Fellow at Teach for India, focused on educational inequity. Early in the career, Aravind worked at Lutron Electronics as a Design and Development Engineer, where significant achievements included leading a product team and improving production processes. Aravind holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
