Ted Richards

Ted Richards is an experienced professional in the fields of finance and sports management, currently serving as the Head of Melbourne at Wilsons Advisory since July 2021, while also holding the position of Investment Committee Member at the AFL Players' Association since October 2023. As a Partner at Athletic Ventures since April 2021 and previously as Head of Distribution at Six Park from June 2017 to June 2021, Ted has demonstrated expertise in digital strategy and business development. Prior roles include Non Executive Director at the AFL Players' Association and professional footballer at Sydney Swans Ltd and Essendon Football Club. Ted holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW and a Masters of Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional, along with additional education from Harvard Business School.
