Momoka Yamagata

Momoka Yamagata is a skilled community support worker at Atira Women's Resource Society, providing vital emotional support and resource facilitation for residents and youth in distress since September 2022. Previously, Momoka held various roles at Simon Fraser University, including Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher, where strong time management and project management skills were developed. Additional experience includes teaching Japanese to K-12 students, serving as a communication officer at the Consulate-General of Japan in Vancouver, and undertaking marketing internships. Momoka holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from International Christian University.
