Lukas van Schalkwyk

Lukas Van Schalkwyk has a strong background in cost management and preconstruction, with experience in both the public and private sectors. Lukas began their career as a Senior Estimator at Hanscomb Inc in 1999 before moving to Turner Construction in 2000. Lukas then transitioned to Suffolk Construction in 2006 as a Preconstruction Manager, where they stayed until 2009 when they joined Faithful+Gould in the same role. In 2016, Lukas moved to Lendlease as a Cost Planning Director before joining AtkinsRéalis in 2017 as Chief Cost Manager.

Lukas Van Schalkwyk pursued their education at Hoerskool Roodepoort from 1977 to 1981, where they attained a High School Diploma in Science & Math. Lukas later enrolled at the University of Pretoria from 1984 to 1992 and earned a BSc. QS degree in Construction.
