Chelsea Arkin joined ABI in 2021 as the Senior Housing Policy and Development Manager to support the creation and preservation of affordable housing units along the BeltLine. She collaborates with public, private, and nonprofit partners to meet the goal of creating or preserving 5,600 affordable housing units within the BeltLine Tax Allocation District. An Atlanta native, she has devoted her career to the development of healthy, livable, and equitable communities. Arkin earned master’s degrees in City and Regional Planning and Public Policy from Georgia Tech and a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College. Arkin lives in the Cabbagetown neighborhood of Atlanta.
