Ebony Blanding

Ebony Blanding is an accomplished filmmaker and director based in Atlanta with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as a filmmaker at Trilith Institute and a film director at Raider Films since June 2018, Blanding has directed numerous projects, including the period-themed drama "Reflections on Georgia Voting" and a brand commercial focused on affordable feminine hygiene products. As co-founder of The House of June, Blanding has presented films at esteemed educational institutions and has participated in various roles within the Atlanta Film Society, including Filmmaker-in-Residence and advisory board member for New Mavericks, which supports female filmmakers. Additional contributions include work as a teaching artist for re:imagine ATL and Georgia State University's screenwriting program, as well as artist fellowships with AIR Serenbe and WonderRoot. Blanding holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations and Film/Video from Georgia State University.
