Rob Calia

Rob Calia has been a key figure in live production since joining the Atlanta Hawks in July 1999, where current roles include Director of Live Production at Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena and Senior Manager of Live Event Production. Responsibilities encompass producing, shooting, and editing content for both in-house and broadcast purposes, as well as project oversight and collaboration with Game Operations on feature creation. Additional freelance positions include serving as Technical Director for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’s Atlanta United, directing WNBA games for the Georgia Tech Athletic Association, and previously working with the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox in various production capacities. Calia began their journey in the field as an intern at the United Center while studying Television Production at Columbia College Chicago, from which a Bachelor's degree was obtained in 1997.
