Roy Clarkson

Roy Clarkson is a Principal Software Engineer at Broadcom since November 2023 and has a long history of expertise in software engineering and management. Previously, Clarkson held positions as a Senior Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer at VMware from December 2019 to November 2023. Clarkson served as a Principal Software Engineer at Pivotal Software, Inc. between April 2013 and December 2019, and has been active in the Atlanta Java Users Group as a Board Member since August 2017. Clarkson earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, completing the degree in 2001.
