Missy Rivner is an experienced educator currently serving as the Middle School Principal and Learning Commons Specialist at Atlanta Jewish Academy since July 2016. In this role, Missy designs professional development materials for educators across all grade levels and supports teachers in achieving personalized professional goals while promoting a 21st century learning environment. Previously, Missy pursued a PhD in Instructional Technology at Georgia State University, completing a dissertation on a Chromebook implementation in a Bais Yaakov School. Other significant professional experiences include teaching roles at The Alfred and Adele Davis Academy, Atlanta Public Schools, and Leland High School. Missy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Technology from Georgia State University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Mercer University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunication Arts with a focus on Film Studies from The University of Georgia.
