Andrew Bandstra

Andrew Bandstra is an accomplished multimedia journalist and sports broadcaster with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a reporter at WISC-TV since August 2022, Bandstra also directs social media for the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and co-hosts "The Interference Podcast with Hoops and Bandstra." Additional roles include color commentator for CISN-TV, where Bandstra analyzes Iowa High School State Tournament sports. An internship with PBS Distribution involved interviews with notable figures like Senator Joni Ernst and Jemele Hill, while a previous position as Senior Director of Marketing and Broadcasting with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs included play-by-play commentary and media relations. Bandstra has held editorial positions and leadership roles in student organizations during academic pursuits at Buena Vista University, where a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media was earned.
