Lynn Barbee

Lynn Barbee has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Lynn currently holds the position of Mayor at the Town of Carolina Beach. Prior to this role, Lynn served as a member of the Town Council at the same company. Lynn's previous experience includes working as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Atlantic Packaging and AP Emissions Technologies. Lynn also held the role of Vice President of Information Technology at Nomaco, where they were responsible for IT strategy and direction. Additionally, Lynn has worked in software development roles at Tavve, Senior Software Development Manager at Fujitsu Network Communications, and Senior Digital Systems Engineer at General Electric. Lynn began their career as a Member of Technical Staff at Telcordia Technologies. Throughout their career, Lynn has demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure, implementing ERP systems, and achieving record profits for companies.

Lynn Barbee pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 1984 to 1987. Following that, they undertook further studies and obtained a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Virginia between the years 1987 and 1988.
