Katie Maldonado

Katie Maldonado has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Katie began their career in 2009 as a Transportation & Support Services Intern at USRA. In 2010, they joined APM as an HR & Communications Specialist and held that position until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Katie served as the Executive Projects Leader at APM before being promoted to the role of HR & Communications Director, which they held until 2019. Most recently, Katie has taken on the role of Communications Director at APM.

Katie Maldonado began their education journey by obtaining their high school diploma with honors from PMHS in 2010. Katie then pursued higher education at San Jacinto College from 2010 to 2015, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Arts/Communications.

In 2017, Katie enrolled at LeTourneau University and studied Business Administration until 2019. Although their degree name is not specified during this time, it can be assumed that they were working towards a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Following their time at LeTourneau, Katie transferred to the University of Houston in 2019. Katie'scurrent educational pursuit at this institution is a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology / Interpersonal Communications. Katie is expected to complete this program and obtain their degree in 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, Katie has obtained two certifications. In December 2020, they earned a Just Culture Master Certification from The Just Culture Company. Additionally, in April 2023, they became an HR Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through SHRM.
