Flavio Silva has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in renowned companies. Flavio is currently serving as the Head of Latin America at Schindler Group and as the President of SWISSCAM Câmara de Comércio Suíço-Brasileira. Prior to these positions, they held the role of President at Elevadores Atlas Schindler (Brazil). Flavio also worked at Voith Group, where they served as the Voith Paper President and Business Line Project Leader, as well as the Voith Paper Executive Vice President - Projects Order Processing. Earlier in their career, they worked at Vale as the Procurement General Manager for Non-Ferrous Projects. Flavio started their professional journey at VOITH, where they held various roles, including Head of Project Management Dept., Voith Paper Project Manager, Voith Paper Sales and Application Engineer, and Voith Paper Process Engineer.
Flavio Silva has a diverse educational background. Flavio obtained a TGM (Transition to General Management) degree in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD in 2014. In 2003, they pursued an MBA in Knowledge, Innovation, and Technology at the University of São Paulo (USP). Prior to this, in 2002, Flavio completed another MBA at USP, specializing in Project Management. Flavio also holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from FEI, which they obtained in 1992. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Flavio completed a two-year program in Business and Administration (CEAG) at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) from 1997 to 1999.
