Shane Powers

Shane Powers has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Shane started their career at Credit Suisse in 1999 and held various roles over the years. These roles included Vice President in the Global Markets Solutions Group and Assistant Vice President in both the Interest Rate Derivatives Middle Office and Derivatives Support Group. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the COO/CFO of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. In 2012, they became the Chief Operating Officer of the Global Markets Solutions Group, where they were responsible for financial performance management and human capital management, among other duties. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Director of Global Markets Controls & Supervision, where they oversaw the control and supervisory platform for various Global Markets businesses and led the development of a Trader Surveillance Program. Since 2023, they have been working as the Director and Chief Operating Officer at ATLAS SP Partners.

Shane Powers holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance and Management from the Fordham Gabelli School of Business, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from Elon University. In addition to their educational background, Shane Powers also holds several certifications from FINRA, including Series 24, Series 63, Series 7, and Series 79.
