Danny Athar

Danny Athar, PE, currently serves as the Manager of Technical Support at Atmos Energy since April 2024. Previously, Danny held various engineering roles within Atmos Energy from June 2008 to May 2017, where responsibilities included providing operational support and engineering for gas compression and storage facilities. Danny also began as an apprentice at a natural gas compressor station, gaining valuable experience in operations before working under the Chief Reservoir Engineer to deepen understanding of regulatory, operational, and engineering aspects of gas reservoir storage. Danny's educational background includes studies at the University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Arlington.
