Ron Douglas

Ron Douglas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ron first worked as a Senior Analyst and PC/LAN Technician at Weyerhaeuser, where they implemented corporate IT policies and developed file backup procedures. Ron then joined EDS-Weyerhaeuser as a Systems Administrator, obtaining Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer status and administering a Windows NT 4.0 LAN. Ron later transitioned to Eclipsys at St Vincent Health Systems as a Systems Analyst, overseeing server administration and managing the Documentation team for ISO 9001 certification.

Afterwards, Ron served as a Microsoft Engineer II at Catholic Health Initiatives at St. Vincent Health Systems, maintaining over 200 Microsoft servers. Ron then joined TEKsystems where they worked as a Systems Engineer, providing support to Leidos and administering the CommVault Backup Environment. Ron also worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Leidos, before joining TEKsystems again as a Contractor - Systems Engineer, where they configured Dell iDRAC's, implemented GlobalSCAPE EFT, and administered McAfee ePO.

Ron's last two roles include being the Chief Petty Officer (Retired) and Senior Enlisted Leader for SurgeMain-Little Rock at US Navy Reserve, where they led a team of 16 Sailors performing surge maintenance in naval shipyards, and being a Senior IT Analyst at ATN International, where their responsibilities are not specified.

Ron Douglas has a Master's Degree in Applied Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. During the same time period, they also earned a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Technology from the same university. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In 1984, they attended DeVry Institute of Technology and completed a program in Digital Electronics, focusing on Electronics. In addition, Ron obtained a certification in Geo-Spatial Technology in May 2012.
