Sonal Gandhi

Sonal Gandhi is a Senior Nuclear Safety Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since May 2023, with a long-standing career at the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board that began in September 2004, including roles such as Lead Reviewer for the Tarapur Atomic Power Station TAPS-3&4. Previous experience includes a Trainee Scientific Officer position at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre from September 2003 to August 2004. Sonal Gandhi is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Research at the IIT Bombay - Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (2021-2026) and holds a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Safety from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2011-2012), as well as an undergraduate education from MBM Engineering College (1999-2003) and Bahai School.
