James Cobb

James Cobb has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on compliance and regulatory roles. James is currently the Head of Compliance at Atomos Wealth since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Compliance, Wealth at Sanlam from November 2016 to September 2022.

Before joining Sanlam, James worked at Attivo Group as the Advice Proposition and Technical Director, where they were responsible for strategy, technical, and regulatory development. James also served as the Head of Paraplanning during their tenure from March 2015 to November 2016.

James's earlier roles include Technical Manager at Hargreaves Lansdown from February 2007 to March 2015, Tax and Trusts Adviser at St. James's Place Wealth Management from June 2005 to January 2007, Calculations Analyst at Clerical Medical from June 2004 to June 2005, and Actuarial Assistant at Equitable Life Assurance Soc from September 1999 to May 2004.

James Cobb graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 1999 with a degree in Banking and Finance with German. James also holds additional certifications as a Chartered Financial Planner and FPFS.
