Christopher Nappen

Christopher Nappen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christopher began their career in 2003 as a Staff Accountant at Dendreon, where they handled full-cycle accounts payable and assisted with month-end and year-end closing processes. Christopher then moved on to become the Controller at Champion Visions World, Inc., where they built and managed an accounting department, implemented internal processes and controls, and drove the annual budget and forecasting process.

In 2010, Christopher worked as an Assistant Controller/Senior Accountant at Seahorse Bioscience, assuming many responsibilities of the Director of Finance, Controller, and Senior Accountant during an ERP implementation. Christopher later served as Controller at The Attic Learning Community (1080 Consulting), reviewing monthly financial statements, leading the annual budget and forecasting process, and managing cash flow.

From 2014 to 2015, Christopher worked at Accounting Solutions Partners as an Associate, providing accounting manager services to multiple clients during transitional periods. Notably, they served as an interim accounting manager at Kindering, where they performed month-end close and supervised A/R & A/P specialists.

In 2014, Christopher joined Atossa Genetics, Inc. as a Senior Revenue Accountant. Christopher was responsible for performing month-end revenue closing activities, assisting with SEC filings, and working closely with a third-party insurance billing company to ensure timely recognition and collection of revenue.

Most recently, Christopher has been working as a self-employed consultant since 2016, offering their expertise in various areas.

Christopher Nappen pursued their education at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. In 1997, they began their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing, which they completed in 2000. In 2002, Christopher earned a Certificate of Accounting from the same institution, specializing in Accounting. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Washington State Board of Accountancy in August 2013.
