J. Shane Kelley

J. Shane Kelley has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. J. Shane began their career as an Instructor Pilot at CAE in 2004 and later joined Bell Flight as a Senior Fixed-Wing Pilot. In 2009, they worked as a Captain at Airshare and then moved on to Business Jet Access as an Assistant Chief Pilot - Standards / Check Airman.

Kelley further expanded their expertise by working as a Program Manager at Embraer CAE Training Services in 2011 and as a Senior Regulatory Specialist at CAE in 2012. J. Shane also served as the Chief Pilot at Garza & Harris in 2013.

In 2014, Kelley joined ATP Jets as the Director of Operations and later became the Vice President and Agent for Service. In this role, they oversaw the flight training center operations and led strategic business and regulatory goals. J. Shane also liaised with key regulatory, air carrier, and industry officials.

Kelley was also actively involved in the industry as the Vice President of the Love Field Pilots Association from 2010 to 2015.

J. Shane Kelley attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2001 to 2010, majoring in Professional Aeronautics. J. Shane also completed a Certified Member program in American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) from the University of North Texas in 2000.
